This is the nomadiQ guarantee offered to you free of charge. Here you will find the information you need in case your product does not work or is faulty. According to the applicable legislation, the customer has different rights if the product is defective. These include additional services or replacement of the product, reduction of the purchase price and compensation. In the European Union, for example, this is a guarantee of two years from the date of receipt of the product. These and other legal rights do not affect this guarantee. This guarantee gives the owner additional rights in addition to the legal guarantee provisions.
nomadiQ guarantees to the purchaser of this product (or, in the case of a gift or promotion, the person for whom it was purchased as a gift or promotion) that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of time specified below when assembled and operated in accordance with the instructions supplied. For normal personal use and maintenance within a home or flat, nomadiQ agrees within the scope of this warranty to repair or replace defective parts within the applicable periods, limitations and exclusions below. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO ANY SUBSEQUENT OWNER, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A GIFT OR PROMOTION AS MENTIONED ABOVE.
Responsibilities of the owner
Would you like to be able to claim under the guarantee without any problems? Keep the proof of purchase and/or the invoice. By registering your product, you confirm that you can make a warranty claim and there will be a direct contact between you and nomadiQ in case we want to contact you. The above warranty only applies if the owner handles the product with care by following all instructions in the user manual provided, unless the owner can prove that the defect or fault is not related to non-compliance with the above obligations. If you live in the coastal area or if you place the product near a swimming pool, you should wash and rinse the outside of the product regularly.
Warranty Handling / Exclusion of Warranty.If a part is covered by this warranty, please contact nomadiQ's customer service or after-sales service. nomadiQ will, after further investigation, repair or replace the defective part covered by this warranty at its option. If the part cannot be repaired or replaced, nomadiQ may choose to replace the product in question with a new product at its own discretion. nomadiQ may ask you to send parts for investigation. This GUARANTEE lapses if there is damage, wear and tear, discolouration and/or rust for which nomadiQ is not responsible and for which nomadiQ is responsible:
• Misuse, misuse, alteration, modification, incorrect application, vandalism, negligence, incorrect assembly or installation and failure to carry out normal and routine maintenance regularly and correctly;
• Insects (such as spiders) and rodents (such as squirrels), including but not limited to damage to burner tubes and/or gas hoses;
• Exposure to salty air and/or sources of chlorine, such as swimming pools and hot tubs/spas; - Very bad weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis or torrential floods
• tornadoes or severe storms.
The use and/or installation of parts other than nomadiQ shall void this warranty and any damage caused by these parts shall not be covered by this warranty. Changes to this product not authorised by nomadiQ and not carried out by an authorised nomadiQ service technician shall invalidate this warranty.
Base & barbecue panels: 5 years, not rusted/burnt through (2 years on the paint with the exception of fading or discoloration)
Stainless steel burner pipes: 5 years, not rusted / burnt through
Aluminium grilles with non-stick coating: 5 years, not rusted / burnt through
Plastic parts: 5 years with the exception of fading or discoloration
All other parts: 2 years
IN ADDITION TO THE WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMERS DESCRIBED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, NO FURTHER WARRANTY OR VOLUNTARY STATEMENTS OF LIABILITY BEYOND THE CIVIL LIABILITY OF NOMADIQ ARE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. THE PRESENT WARRANTY STATEMENT DOES NOT LIMIT OR EXCLUDE ANY SITUATIONS OR CLAIMS FOR WHICH NOMADIQ IS LEGALLY LIABLE. THE GUARANTEE LAPSES AFTER THE MONETARY GUARANTEE PERIODS. WARRANTIES GIVEN BY PERSONS, INCLUDING A DEALER OR RETAILER, IN RELATION TO THE PRODUCTS (SUCH AS "ADDITIONAL WARRANTY") ARE NOT BINDING ON NOMADIQ. THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PART OR PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT UNDER THIS VOLUNTARY WARRANTY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE NOMADIQ PRODUCT SOLD. YOU BEAR THE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, INJURY TO YOURSELF AND/OR OTHERS, DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND PROPERTY DUE TO THE INCORRECT USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW NOMADIQ'S INSTRUCTIONS IN THE ACCOMPANYING INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES REPLACED UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE WARRANTED ONLY UP TO THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PERIOD(S) STATED ABOVE. THIS WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO PRIVATE USE IN A SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE OR FLAT AND DOES NOT APPLY TO NOMADIQ PRODUCTS USED IN COMMERCIAL, COMMUNAL OR MULTI-OCCUPANCY ENVIRONMENTS SUCH AS RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, RESORTS OR RENTED ACCOMMODATION. NOMADIQ MAY CHANGE THE DESIGN OF ITS PRODUCTS FROM TIME TO TIME. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY CAN OBLIGE NOMADIQ TO MAKE SUCH DESIGN CHANGES IN PREVIOUSLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS. SUCH CHANGES CANNOT BE CONSTRUED AS A DECLARATION THAT PREVIOUS DESIGNS WERE DEFECTIVE.
